"On the morning of Thursday 25 September, the Lower 6 set off for our exciting teambuilding trip to Youlbury. The journey there wasn't without its own teambuilding experience as the road leading to the activity centre was shut so we came together for the treacherous (15 minute) trek to the site.
With beautiful sunny weather, we began our first activities including Jacobs ladder, ziplining, and even axe throwing (a key highlight for most)!
The first day ended with a traditional campfire of campfire songs, chants, games, toasted marshmallows and cake to celebrate Katrina's 17th Birthday!
On day two, after a breakfast of pancakes and syrup, we packed up our things and began the final activities before hopping back on the bus to return to school... many having a quick nap after a tiring couple of days. The trip was an agreed success across the year group and we can't wait for the year ahead!
