Invested in Excellence: Supporting Families and Empowering Futures

In a changing educational landscape, Queen Anne’s continues to be in a very good position – academically, pastorally and financially and our well-established leadership team leads with strength, clarity and purpose. With the introduction of VAT on school fees, we recognise that the financial cost of education now accounts for a higher proportion of your household expenditure, and we are committed to supporting our parents and those interested in an independent education.

Now we have a clear picture of the VAT position for our school, and the Foundation of schools which we are a part of, United Westminster Grey Coat Foundation, from September 2025, we are reducing or freezing all fees set in January 2025. This will financially assist our families without compromising the exceptional quality of education we provide.

In summary, for the 2025/26 academic year, we are reducing fees for day pupils in Years 7 and 8 to support our incoming families to navigate the key transition to secondary school. In addition, we have frozen fees for all day pupils in Years 9 to 13 and for all full boarding and international boarding pupils to provide stability and peace of mind for our families.

Exceptional Value

At Queen Anne’s, we believe in developing young women who are not only academically accomplished but also confident, compassionate and courageous with kind hearts, fierce minds and strong spirits. Our girls are supported to follow their passions, be it on the playing field, in the music room or in the science lab, all with a nurturing and supportive community around them.

As a well-established and fiscally responsible school, we will continue to offer exceptional value, combining interdisciplinary teaching, sports at regional and national level, award-winning pastoral care, bespoke sixth form spaces and expert career guidance in a nurturing and warm environment. We are the school of choice for young women.

New Boarding fee categories*

Our boarding community is more vibrant than ever. To support more pupils to explore and access this truly enriching life experience, from September 2025, we are introducing a lower flexi boarding fee of £13,800 per term (inc VAT). This will include boarding for two nights in the week, with two suppers and breakfasts included, in addition to the usual tuition fees.

We will also have a weekly boarding option, with fees frozen at their current level. This will support even more girls and families to explore boarding and find the right fit for them to enjoy this truly enriching life experience. Parents who are currently “Flexi 3-4” Boarders will see their fee status change to “Weekly Boarding”. This will not change the product, which still includes Monday to Friday boarding, up to five nights.

Updates to extra lessons

We are committed to remaining fiscally sound at Queen Anne’s for many years to come. As such, whilst we have frozen our core tuition fees and ensured service efficiencies across our school, to continue the quality of our extra lessons, we are making small, carefully considered uplifts to the cost of five activities (dance, Lamda, learning & development, EAL) to bring them in line with the underlying staffing and delivery costs. You can find more information here.

Our core curriculum and rich co-curricular programme remain unchanged.
