L4 students from Queen Anne’s recently took a trip to The Sculpture Park, where they explored a unique outdoor gallery set within beautiful woodland and lakes. The park is home to hundreds of sculptures created by artists from around the world, offering visitors the chance to experience art in a natural setting.

Throughout the day, students followed winding forest paths, discovering a wide variety of sculptures made from different materials and in many styles. One of the highlights for many was the park’s famous underground “dark maze,” which added an element of adventure to the visit.

Students shared their thoughts on the experience:

“I really enjoyed going to the sculpture park and found it interesting looking at other people's artwork,” said Hattie.

Poppy added, “I thought the sculpture park was a great experience, I thought it was a fun day with my friends, and the dark maze was the best part!”

Clara said, “It was really fun and it was cool to see the backstories of the sculptures and look at what they were made of.”

Lilly and Cathy commented, “It was very nice to be able to walk around the really nice forest and the sculptures were really cool. I loved the maze and all the different styles of the sculptures.”

The trip provided students with a chance to engage with art outside the classroom while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of nature - making it a memorable and inspiring day for everyone involved.
