On Monday 9 June, Lower Sixth Social Science students took part in a forensic experience unlike any other. The session was led by Hayley Scott, a former Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) with the Metropolitan Police, who challenged students to immerse themselves in the complex world of crime scene investigation.
Wearing white overalls, the students examined crime scene evidence, took fingerprints, and even investigated a very realistic fake dead body. Using the same tools and methods as professional CSIs, they had the opportunity to ask questions and hear real-life stories that went much further than the pages of the criminology textbooks.
It was a truly valuable and enriching experience for everyone involved.
