On Thursday 13 November, 4's students enjoyed a memorable cultural experience at the French Institute in London.
The day began with an interactive language workshop designed to prepare pupils for the afternoon’s film screening of Tempête. Students explored a rich set of French vocabulary, focusing on themes from the film such as horses and jump racing. They practised naming different parts of a horse and sharpened their descriptive skills by analysing the film’s trailer and poster, all in French!
After lunch, the group headed to the Ciné Lumière to watch Tempête in French with English subtitles. The film captivated everyone, keeping them on the edge of their seats. This trip not only deepened their understanding of the French language but also gave them a taste of French cinema and culture.
