Last week, our Sixth Form business students were invited by the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy to take part in a live webinar with Simon Ong, a life coach and business strategist.
It was a brilliant and inspirational event for our girls to be a part of. Simon talked about growth and progress, the importance of managing your mindset and mental energy. The main focus was on entrepreneurship, but there were many great motivational comments and insights in his talk.
One interesting idea he talked about was the power of a person’s environment in ensuring goals are met – the idea that by surrounding yourself with people who share the same goals will make your own goals so much easier to achieve. He focussed on choices and habits and on measuring success against your own parameters and not chasing those of others.
One of the comments that struck a chord was that successful people have a strong bias to action, which really sums up the Queen Anne's community!
