Wellbeing BRAINCANDO

BrainCanDo have created a Summer Activity and Wellbeing Journal, to support students in this time of remote learning.

The journal, which has been sent to all Queen Anne's students, encourages us all to look after our physical and mental health.

BrainCanDo, founded by Queen Anne's Headmistress Julia Harrington, is an educational neuroscience and psychology research centre, which provides many useful studies and resources for students, teachers, and the general public.

During lockdown, all of our daily routines have been changed and disrupted, and adapting to new routines in a time of uncertainty can be very difficult. Without being able to go to school and see our friends, and with restrictions to exercising outside, it is more important than ever to look after our physical and mental wellbeing.

The BrainCanDo Summer Journal is divided into five sections – a week of activities for each of the following areas:

  • Sleep and Relaxation
  • Goal Setting & Resilience Building
  • Building a Healthy Lifestyle
  • Fostering Creativity
  • Spreading Kindness

Each of these weekly sections contain daily activities and inspiring quotes, to provide a clear guide on how we can take care of ourselves over this unusual summer!

If you would like to download your own copy of the BrainCanDO Summer Activity and Wellbeing Journal, you can do so here.
