Global Universities Fair 2023

Queen Anne's School played host to a dynamic gathering of schools and international educational institutions yesterday, all united by a shared goal: guiding students towards global opportunities in higher education. The event, organised in partnership with The University Guys, provided a platform for students to explore international universities and discover exciting educational pathways.

The day kicked off with an informative training session aimed at equipping educators with the tools and knowledge needed to guide their students through the intricate process of applying to international universities. This training session, attended by representatives from several schools, set the stage for an engaging and enriching experience for all participants.

Following the training, our school site was abuzz with excitement as an impressive line up of 18 prestigious educational establishments set up booths for an interactive exhibition. Among the institutions present were renowned names like the University of Florida, Michigan State University, Swiss Education Group, the University of Waterloo, and many more.

This vibrant exhibition offered students a golden opportunity to engage with university representatives and gain valuable insights into diverse courses and university life overseas. The event not only encouraged academic exploration but also fostered cross-cultural understanding as students and representatives shared their experiences and perspectives.

Queen Anne's encourages students to explore international higher education options as well as UK universities and apprenticeships schemes. Many of our students have previously secured coveted spots at prestigious Ivy League Universities, where they have relished the chance to broaden their horizons through travel and immerse themselves in new and diverse cultures.

The success of the event was underscored by the enthusiastic participation of both students and institutions.
