On Tuesday 3 December, Queen Anne’s had the pleasure of hosting local senior residents for their annual Christmas Tea Party.
Our Prefects and Senior Prefects were excellent hosts to guests from Abbey Crest, Abbey Field and St Luke’s care homes.
A number of lively performances took place to add to the Christmas atmosphere.
Our dancers showcased a range of ballet, tap and jazz routines. The audience were very impressed, with some even dancing along too!
Our drama students performed a fun and dynamic take on the on the classic ‘A Christmas Carol’, that all were able to enjoy.

Finally, our Lower Four choir sang a variety of Christmas carols and songs, including Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. The audience were encouraged to sing along and the carols really brought everybody together.
As the Christmas Tea Party came to a close, our guests all received gifts and cards that had been handmade by Queen Anne’s students.
Our girls very much enjoyed meeting the senior citizens, sharing stories and the Christmas spirit, and our guests expressed how much they enjoyed the afternoon.
