Queen Anne’s was delighted to once again take part in the annual Caversham Arts Trail, welcoming more than 800 visitors across two successful weekends in the school’s Art Department.

Guests enjoyed an impressive exhibition featuring work from nine visiting artists alongside a wide range of outstanding pieces created by Queen Anne’s students and members of the art staff. The exhibition showcased a diverse collection of creative work, including ceramics, sculpture, textiles, watercolour, and acrylic pieces, transforming the department into a vibrant and inspiring gallery space.

Throughout the event, visitors explored the artwork on display while experiencing the creative atmosphere that filled the building. One visitor described the exhibition as “a fully immersive time looking at all the artwork around the building, just stunning,” reflecting the positive response received across both weekends.

The event also highlighted the talent and dedication within the Queen Anne’s art community, providing students with the opportunity to exhibit their work alongside established local artists as part of a major community arts event.

Queen Anne’s would like to thank everyone who visited, exhibited, and supported the trail, helping to make this year’s event such a success. Special thanks also go to chefs Piotr and Kristoff, whose cakes and refreshments were enjoyed by visitors throughout both weekends.

Parents and members of the school community will have another opportunity to view students’ exceptional artwork later this term during the Summer Exhibition following Speech Day, where even more creative achievements will be celebrated.
