Life as a Theatre and Film Agent

Drama Alumnae

A group of QA girls with dreams of stardom in film and theatre took a step nearer their dreams last night when they attended a presentation and workshop by QAS Alumna Rosie Dart who works for a leading Film and Theatre Agency in London.

Rosie, who left Queen Anne's in 2016, won a Drama Scholarship to Durham University. After graduating, she wrote and starred in an award-winning show in Edinburgh which the critics hailed as “one of the top ten ‘must see’ family shows”.

Rosie spoke to the girls about her life as an agent in the entertainment industry and she offered tips and advice for those interested in pursuing a career in the Performing Arts. She followed her presentation with a 90-minute workshop with the A level Drama class which focussed on devising theatre, which is a component of the A level course the girls are currently studying.

The inspiring talk and account of Rosie's career since leaving QAS demonstrated that pursuing preforming arts can lead to a dynamic and fulfilling career, and left students with many ideas of how they can be successful in the industry.

Thank you Rosie for coming back to Queen Anne's and telling us all about your incredible experiences!
