Whole School Event

In a wonderful display of tradition, Queen Anne's School marked a momentous occasion as we held our Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey on Friday 23 January.

The event, a privilege extended only to the five schools in the United Westminster and Grey Coat Hospital Foundation, was a service of thanksgiving and a celebration of the school.

It highlighted the talent and achievements of the students with students captivating the large audience with choir and dance perfomances. Staff, students, parents, governors and alumnae of Queen Anne’s School made up the 1300+ crowd, including esteemed guests such as the Bishop of Newcastle.

Students wore their iconic red cloaks as part of the cherished tradition that brought together generations of the Queen Anne’s community, fostering a sense of pride and shared values of the school. They even received gingerbread for their journey home.
