Wellbeing Whole School

Students and staff at Queen Anne’s recently came together to celebrate Wellbeing Week, a dedicated week of activities designed to promote positive mental, physical and emotional wellbeing across the school community.

Throughout the week, pupils were encouraged to take time to focus on their health and happiness through a variety of engaging activities. These included sound baths, mindfulness pilates, slime making, swimming, cyanotype workshops, and origami sessions. This allowed students to connect with one another, explore new ways to relax, and reflect on the importance of maintaining balance in their busy lives.

Wellbeing Week highlighted the school's commitment to creating a supportive environment where students can flourish both academically and personally. It also served as an opportunity to strengthen the sense of community that is at the heart of life at Queen Anne’s. Students embraced the chance to step away from their usual routines, try something new and spend time with friends and staff in a positive and uplifting atmosphere.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped organise and deliver the programme, as well as to the students who participated with such enthusiasm. Their engagement helped make the week a memorable and valuable experience for all involved.

A special thank you goes to Mrs Birkbeck (Head of Wellbeing) for organising such an amazing week that provided a valuable reminder of the importance of taking time to recharge and develop healthy habits that help us thrive both in and out of the classroom.

As Wellbeing Week came to a close, it left an important reminder that looking after our wellbeing is not something reserved for a single week, but an ongoing commitment that supports success, happiness and personal growth throughout the year.

We look forward to building on the positive energy of the week and continuing to place wellbeing at the heart of the Queen Anne’s experience.
