The festive season was joyfully ushered in on Wednesday 10 December as the Queen Anne’s community gathered at St Peter’s Church in Caversham for our annual Christmas Carol Service. A treasured event in the school calendar, the evening offered a moment of reflection, celebration, and togetherness.

The church resonated with music as our choirs delivered a moving programme of carols and hymns, complemented by thoughtful readings from students and staff. A standout moment of the service was the Sixth Form Choir’s expressive rendition of Somewhere in My Memory, which captivated the congregation.

Lower School students proudly wore the traditional QAS red cloaks.

Following the service, guests enjoyed freshly baked mince pies and warming cups of mulled wine.
We are deeply grateful to Reverend Rachel, Mrs Goodall, Mr Roberts, and all members of staff whose commitment and hard work ensured the success of the service. Thanks to their efforts, this much-loved celebration remains a meaningful and memorable part of life at Queen Anne’s.
