On Thursday 15 January, our Lower 4 students proudly showcased the culmination of their hard work from last term at the much-anticipated MADE Showcase.
This annual event provided students with the opportunity to present their interdisciplinary projects to their families and staff, all inspired by this year’s theme, The Odyssey.
The evening began with an exhibition in The Space, featuring striking artworks inspired by Circe’s magic, transforming men into pigs, alongside student-written monologues. These pieces were later brought to life in an impressive drama and dance performance in the Performing Arts Centre, where students confidently delivered their monologues on stage whilst telling the story of Odysseus, a clever hero trying to return home after the Trojan War.
The performance also included a beautiful musical mash-up of Go the Distance and Zero to Hero from Hercules, adding energy and emotion to the evening.
It was a brilliant celebration of creativity, collaboration and talent!
