On Thursday 6 November, the Music Department hosted its first Scholars’ Recital of the academic year, treating the audience to an evening brimming with talent and passion. The recital showcased performances from students across all ages, demonstrating the depth and breadth of skill within the department.

The program featured a wide range of disciplines, including voice, violin, trombone, piano, and saxophone. Among the standout pieces were Sonata No. 5, movements II and III by Galliard, The Old Therebefore by Zegler, and Ave Maria by Back/Gounod.

Audience members were treated not only to technical excellence but also to heartfelt performances that highlighted the dedication of the students and their teachers.
A big thank you to our talented scholars for such a wonderful performance!

With such a strong start to the year, anticipation is already building for the Music Department's Musical Extravaganza Concert later this month.
