QAS Dancers Dazzle on Stage!

Some of our dance students have been very busy over the last month in dance competitions. 

Jessica (U6) competed in the NATD London area Medalist of Year adult qualifier competition. She had a number of routines in varying styles to perform on the day and came away with great results! Well Done!

1. 16-21 Solo Ballroom Bronze 1st
2. 16-21 Solo Latin Awards 2nd
3. Under 30 Solo (no partner) Ballroom open syllabus - 6th
4. Under 30 Solo (no partner) Latin open syllabus - 4th
5. 16-21 Couples Ballroom Silver and above 5th
6. ⁠16-21 Couples Latin Silver and above 5th

Harriett (U4) came 1st with 'Outstanding' in her lyrical dance at Triple Threat and 2nd in her new Character dance with Honours. This now means Harriett has 13 group dances through with duets/trios small & large groups for the next round of All England, a Nationwide dance competition.

Along with this Harriett has also been busy auditioning and will be performing in the Hexagon pantomime again for a second time performing in Beauty & The Beast this year. What brilliant news, well done, Harriett!

Lana L4 took part in the Maidenhead Festival of dance during the October half term. She was placed Gold for her group Ballet, Bronze for her solo Ballet Modern and Bronze for her Modern solo. Lana also competed with her dance partner and came Gold in both their Ballet duet and Lyrical duet.

It was the first time Lana performed her Modern solo and lyrical duet and it certainly went well, what a great result Lana, well done!
