Queen Anne’s School’s Inter-Charter Dance Competition brought the Lent Term to a vibrant and memorable close.
The end of term competition saw students take to the stage with a series of solo, small group and full Charter performances, each inspired by 'around the world'. From the very first routine, the atmosphere was electric, with creativity and energy.
Students, staff and mascots worked together to produce performances full of character and originality.
Judging the competition was Head of Dance Mrs Powell, Deputy Head Pastoral Mr Towse, and Queen Anne’s alumna Scarlett, last year’s Dance Captain and Dance Scholar, who is now studying at Bird College. Their task was no easy one, with such a high level of creativity and effort on display.
After careful deliberation, Pankhurst were announced as the overall winners.
The Inter-Charter Dance Competition remains a highlight of the school calendar, and this year’s event was no exception - a fitting and celebratory end to the Lent Term.
