Dance Showcase

On Friday 7 November, the Queen Anne’s School dance department took to the stage for their annual Progress Dance Showcase, celebrating the hard work and development of students across all year groups.

With performances ranging from Ballet, Modern, and Tap to Hip-hop, the showcase featured dancers from L4 up to U6, including GCSE and A Level pieces.

The Contemporary Club also treated everyone to a special improvised piece inspired by Bonfire Night, offering a glimpse into the creativity and spontaneity of the club.

Head of Dance Vicky Powell explained that the showcase provides students with the opportunity to gain confidence performing in front of an audience and to demonstrate not only their routines but also the hard work that goes into technique, warm-ups, and preparation.

Excitement is already building for the department’s next big event, the Celebrate Dance Show in March 2026.
