Drama Scholars Clown Workshop

Last Thursday, our Drama Scholars participated in an unforgettable clowning workshop led by the talented Adam Ainsworth from Cross Street Coaching. Usually working with university-level performing arts students and seasoned industry professionals, Adam brought his wealth of experience and infectious energy to our school for a day of creativity, risk-taking, and fun.

The workshop introduced students to the foundations of clowning, encouraging them to explore, timing and physicality, through a series of exercises and improvisation activities.

Co-Head of Drama, Ms Scott, was full of praise for the group. "It was a bold workshop that could only have worked with their full co-operation and involvement and they were all brilliant. I was especially blown away by their "critic and dreamer" improvisations and all the laughter!"
