Drama Junior Production

On Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 June, audiences were treated to the enchanting Junior Production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

The cast, froms 4s and U4s, were joined by guest appearances from some U5 thespians who played the grown up Pevensie children as they returned to their home years later and finding their hidden treasures. There was also a delightful interval dance from Sixth Formers Scarlett (U6) and Pippa (L6).

From wicked ice creatures, to punk wolves and comical beavers, audiences joined Lucy, Susan, Edmund and Peter as they travelled through a wardrobe into Aslan's magical world of Narnia.

The energy, commitment and fun through rehearsals and during the performances made this a special experience for the cast and audience alike.

Congratulations and thank you all involved!

Lara (4s)

I really enjoyed being part of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, where I played the role of Susan. At first, I was quite nervous before the show, but once I got on stage, I found it so much fun and loved every moment of it. A huge thank you to Miss Durham, she’s the best teacher ever and made the whole experience so special!

Scarlett (4s) who played Peter said

It was such an amazing experience and brought me closer to people. I loved it so much and would so like to do another play similar to it again!

 Iris (4s)

Rehearsals for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was always the highlight of my week. I had an amazing time diving into each scene, laughing, and creating something magical with my friends.
