A Dream of a Production

Drama Junior Production

The Performing Arts Centre was filled with glam and glitter this week when the 1970’s-themed production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” was performed.

The L5 and U5 “Dreamers” entertained their audiences with mischief, merriment, and mirth, complete with light sabres, extravagant hairstyles, and sparkling costumes. All the performers were clearly having infectious fun which reached across the footlights into the audience; the entertainment was encapsulated by Sofiia’s accident (to quote Basil Fawlty “don’t mention the wall, I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it”!). A huge well done to all involved.

Next stop, the L4 MADE Project at the end of January and the whole school production of “Chicago” in conjunction with Reading Boys’ School in February.
