QAS Senior Boarding House cleans up Caversham!

Miss Gurung, Graduate Assistant in Holmes boarding house, led students in the Holmes Charity Council in a litter picking initiative around Caversham.

Miss Gurung said:  "We litter picked in Christchurch Meadows and the park on Westfield Road. We started the initiative during the Lent term of this year and went out to pick on the weekends. We managed to really clean up some areas of the park and dispose of a significant amount of litter.  We have now finished this initiative for the academic year and had our last litter picking last Saturday."

The volunteers who came along were Selina B, Megan C, Latisha L, Eva-H, Smriti P, Clarice Z, Hau L C and Mrs. Fancourt. A big thanks to them for coming along to help!

It was a great experience! We picked a lot of litter, helped the local environment, and had a lot of fun together.
