Yesterday, in bitterly cold conditions, the U18A Lacrosse Team demonstrated resilience, determination and admirable school spirit to take home well-earned silverware at the U19s South Schools' Lacrosse Tournament.

The opening fixtures proved frustrating with 2-3, and 3-5 losses but the team recognised where things weren't falling into place and rallied together with impressive maturity. With renewed work rate, increased physicality and significantly improved ball control, the players fought back to secure a well deserved place in the semi-final of the Bowl.

Following a 2-1 win over Caterham, Queen Anne's faced Downe House in the final. Ever-growing intensity in contested plays, sharper decision-making and far better composure on the ball led the team to a 3-2 win - taking home the Bowl title!

A fantastic result considering the conditions and with continued focus and commitment, the team has every reason to feel confident about the next stage of the season.

Tournament MVP was awarded to Mary.
