During the Easter holidays, several QAS athletes represented England at the Lacrosse Home Internationals, competing against strong opposition in a high-level international environment. The tournament provided an important opportunity for players to gain experience at representative level and test themselves in closely contested matches.
Across all fixtures, the competition was marked by tight scorelines and competitive performances, highlighting the standard of play across the participating nations.
In the Women’s Senior Development Team, Mary (U6) and Holly (Alumna) both contributed to a successful campaign that resulted in a gold medal finish.
In the Women’s U20 category, Lara (Alumna) was part of the White team, which secured a gold medal after a strong series of performances. Ottie (U6) represented the Red team, which achieved a bronze medal following several closely fought matches.
The selection and success of these players is a reflection of their hard work, commitment, and progression within the QAS programme. It also highlights the support provided by coaches and staff in helping athletes reach representative honours.
Congratulations to Mary, Holly, Lara, and Ottie on their achievements and for representing England with distinction at the Lacrosse Home Internationals.
