A standout weekend of success saw the school’s trampoline gymnasts deliver exceptional performances at the BGSA National Finals.
Competing in her first year of trampolining, Alexa (L4) achieved an impressive 6th-place finish, marking a significant milestone in her development.
In the Year 10–14 team event, Izzy (U6), Florence (U5), Hettie (U5) and Flo (U5) combined skill and consistency to secure an excellent 3rd-place finish. The competition marked Izzy’s final appearance for the team as she is in her final year at Queen Anne's, leaving with an outstanding record of back-to-back National medals. Her commitment and contribution to the team have been invaluable.
Emily (L6) also impressed, finishing 5th with a newly introduced and technically demanding routine. Meanwhile, Francesca (L5) earned 2nd place with a composed and precise performance. Notably, she achieved a perfect HD score of 10 in both rounds, demonstrating exceptional control by landing consistently on the centre cross.
The team’s success reflects months of dedication and hard work from all gymnasts involved. Special thanks go to Ms Purves for travelling to Derby to support the athletes throughout the competition.
