The U15A netball team has enjoyed a superb season, with many players also representing county and regional squads. After narrowly missing out on a place at the National Netball Finals by a single goal in extra time, the team showed remarkable resilience in their Sisters n Sport campaign.

In the semi-final against Princethorpe College, they maintained their composure in a highly physical and competitive match, securing victory with a golden goal in extra time to reach the Final Four.

The team travelled to Loughborough University on Monday 16 March ahead of their fixtures the following day. Upon arrival, they checked into their hotel before heading out for a team dinner, which provided a valuable opportunity for bonding and relaxation. The evening included team games and activities, helping to build a positive atmosphere ahead of competition day. The players then returned to their rooms to prepare for an early start - ready to focus on final preparations for their matches.

In their semi-final against The Maynard School, nerves were evident early on, but the team settled into the game in the second half, capitalising on opposition errors and creating strong scoring opportunities. They secured an impressive 24–14 victory, guaranteeing a place in the final.

In the final, they faced a strong and clinical Lymm High School side. Despite working hard defensively and creating turnover opportunities, the opposition’s shooting accuracy and ability to convert turnovers proved decisive. Queen Anne’s fought hard and produced moments of excellent play but ultimately finished as runners-up, with the match ending 13–28.

Finishing second nationally in the Sisters n Sport Shield is a phenomenal achievement and marks the highest level the school has reached in this competition. The team should be extremely proud of their dedication, effort, and performances throughout the season.
