Music Achievement

Fantastic news for Lily-May (L4) who has been offered a place in the National Children's Orchestra of GB for the 4th year in a row.

This year is an exciting one for her as it will be her first year of residential courses. She will spend a week in both the Easter and Summer school holidays at Sherborne School with the National Children's Orchestra U12s.

In addition, over the half term break, Lily-May took part in a two day (all female) brass course at the Royal College of Music as part of the RCM Sparks 'Large and Shiny Instruments Programme'. She was learning with Arlene Macfarlane on the trombone and the course ended with a fabulous concert of brass music including music from the Barbie film!

Congratulations Lily-May!
