The Queen Anne’s School corridors were buzzing once again as the teaching staff returned for the new term preparations. The staff took part in a comprehensive INSET programme readying themselves and the school for the return of over 400 pupils next week. Topics included ‘Fire Training’ and ‘Equality, Diversity and Inclusion’ as well as an uplifting Chapel service from Reverend Rachel Ross-Smith and a fun staff inter-charter quiz and inter-charter rounders match to get the QAS ‘Strong Spirits’ charged for Michaelmas Term.

"As the school gears up for the girls’ return over the weekend and next week, it is exciting to feel the energy and vision that our teachers and pastoral staff are bringing to this new academic year.  After nearly two years of particularly difficult challenges, the new structures in the houses, the extensive pastoral systems and the new subjects planned for introduction in 2022 really demonstrate that we were true our mantra - ‘Never waste a good crisis’." said Julia Harrington, Headmistress
