Recently, 90 of our students took part in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, with 36 students gaining certificates and four students qualifying for the Kangaroo rounds!

The Intermediate Mathematical Challenge is a 60 minute, multiple-choice competition aimed at students across the UK. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.

36 of our students achieved either a bronze, silver or gold certificate.

Miranda R (U4) qualified for the Grey Kangaroo round, and Jaey S (L5), Jaiyi H (U5) and Ho Ying L (U5) qualified for the Pink Kangaroo round. The Kangaroo rounds are international invitation-only rounds for the very best young mathematicians.

Congratulations to all who took part in the UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge! We are very proud to have such STEM talents amongst our students, and good luck to our Kangaroo round qualifiers.
