It's been a Summer of success for Holly in U6, who, despite huge previous victories in the sport of Racketlon, took her achievements to another level over the school holiday.

Racketlon, a sport combining matches of Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash and Tennis, entices highly competitive and talented athletes, often ones competing at a national standard for one or more of the sports individually. Matches can last up to an hour and half and athletes may play up to six matches a day in tournaments.
In May, Holly travelled to Zurich to play in the Racketlon World Doubles Championships. With her Austrian partner, Holly won the U21 Mixed Doubles Title and with her Danish partner, won the U21 Girls' Doubles Title. Then in August, just three weeks after spraining her ankle trekking the Lake District for the Gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition, Holly competed in Rotterdam in the World Singles Championship. Holly's psychological strength, aided with a lot of ankle strapping led to her winning the U21 Girl's Singles Title - for the second year in a row.
Holly now holds all three U21 World Titles and is No.5 in the world for women’s singles - as well as the only British woman in the top 10.

The competitions don't stop though, with Holly travelling to the Austrian Open over the weekend. She took home Gold in the Ladies Doubles and Bronze in the Mixed Doubles and Singles.
We couldn't be more proud, impressed and excited at Queen Anne's by Holly's Racketlon career and can't wait to hear more about what's on the horizon - with the potential of competing at the tour-end finals in India this November.
