Helen's (U4) Hockey Success

Congratulations to Helen (U4) and her team, Reading U14 1st Team, who won the silver medal at the England Hockey Clubs Supra League Finals this weekend!

Reading topped their pool to reach the final, where they staged an impressive comeback from 2-0 down at half-time to level the match 2-2 by full time. Although they narrowly missed out on gold in a dramatic “shuffle” (penalty shootout), securing second place is an incredible achievement.

A special mention also goes to Helen’s mum, who recently celebrated her own success on the pitch by winning gold in the O45s Hockey Tier 3 Cup only a few weeks ago. A fantastic set of sporting achievements for the whole family.
