As we reflect on the many memorable events hosted at Queen Anne’s this year, one highlight was our wonderful evening with broadcaster and author Carol Kirkwood in April.
Joined by Gwenan Edwards, Carol shared insights from her remarkable career in broadcasting, speaking candidly about the importance of confidence, resilience and embracing new opportunities. Her warmth and humour captivated the audience throughout the evening.
Guests enjoyed the opportunity to take part in audience Q&A sessions, browse a selection of pre-loved treasures and support the inspiring work of Smart Works, a charity dedicated to helping women across the Thames Valley build confidence and secure employment.
The event was a fantastic celebration of community, conversation and empowerment, leaving guests feeling inspired and uplifted.
