Whole School Charity

Our Queen Anne's community have embarked on a challenge to walk around the world in support of the NHS.  We are hoping that this will provide a challenge to keep us all active in these strange times and raise some money in the process.

As Mr Blunt and Mr Boyes live on our school site they took upon challenges to help contribute to our fundraising efforts, each in their own unique way!

Mr Blunt had a big challenge as he aimed to walk 100 miles around the school site.  After 33 hours and 45 minutes he finally completed his challenge at 9.45 p.m. on Saturday evening, having started out on Friday at midday.   He walked through the night and we are immensely proud of him! As some of you may know Mr Blunt battled cancer last year and is extremely thankful to the NHS staff which helped him through this time.

On Sunday,  Mr Boyes decided to take on his own challenge and, having laid out a golf course around the school field, he completed 33 rounds, 300 holes and 27 miles!  Mr Boyes started very early at 6.00 a.m. on Sunday morning and completed it by 7.00 pm that evening.   Congratulations on this fantastic achievement!

Fundraising is going brilliantly too - we have already raised a wonderful amount.  Take a look at some photos from these challenges and congratulations to both Mr Blunt and Mr Boyes...we hope that they enjoy a well earned rest!
