Alumna Profile: Rosie Dart, 2016 - Life as a Film and Theatre Agent

After leaving QAS in 2016 and graduating from Durham University, I started my career at NBCUniversal where I assisted in production as part of the company's graduate programme.

Whilst at the company I also got involved in the wide range of employee resource groups including the Young Professionals Network and OUT LGBTQ+ Network where I assisted on an initiative with The Prince's Trust and helmed the creation of a zine on LGBTQ+ cinema. After my time at NBCUniversal I moved into casting and worked as a casting assistant on projects such as Enola Holmes 2 (Netflix), Luther (Netflix), Girl From the North Country (UK Tour) and 2:22 (West End).

I then moved to Netflix where I was Creative Assistant in Casting for EMEA, helping to pipeline emerging talent and assist on projects across Europe, Middle East and Africa. I've also enjoyed creating new theatre and have written shows which have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and VAULT festival in London.
