Joining as a full boarder in Lower 4 (Year 7), Serena has felt a strong sense of community at Queen Anne’s from day one.
As a talented singer, Serena has performed in several school musicals, won The Berkshire Young Singer of the Year Competition and has produced a number of songs in the school's recording studio. Appointed Head of Arts whilst living within Maddock House, Serena found enjoyment in working alongside other creative students in her house for the inter house Music Competition.
In addition to her love for the arts, Serena is a member of the Law and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) societies, where she has learnt the power of using her voice to speak out against injustices. Competing in various public speaking and debating competitions and attending Model United Nations conferences, Serena identified these opportunities as the catalyst for her continuously developing passion for advocacy, diplomacy and international human rights.
"QAS provides you with opportunities, pushes you to achieve and celebrates your successes"
As Head Girl for the academic year 2021-22 Serena is looking forward to being a role model for the younger students, promoting an environment where students can speak out in confidence and tackling the negative impacts of COVID-19, all whilst completing A Levels in Economics, English and History.
