Students from Queen Anne's School have been nominated for two awards at the RoundTable Global Youth Awards 2022.
RoundTable Global offer world renowned leadership, empowerment and culture change programmes. They work with small and large organisations around the world and deliver programmes in fun, new and unique ways.
QAS students have been nominated in the Creativity and Innovation, and Educational Leadership categories:
Creativity and Innovation:
Claudia M, Esther B, Paris M, Madeleine D (U6)
A team of 4 students decided they wanted to raise funds and awareness for Trust House, a local refuse for abused women and children.
They ran their own version of Legally Blonde the Musical, doing everything from casting to rehearsals to advertising and raising funds.
Educational Leadership:
Mateja T, Luisa B, Cate C, Emily O, Emma S, Emily R, Aoife F (U6)
A team of our students have been working with Reading Refugee Support Group. Once every two weeks, one of our minibuses collects local primary school students to come to Queen Anne's where the Sixth Form run a homework club for them and then play games with the younger students.
