This term our 4s students are studying Oscar Wilde’s famous play The Importance of Being Earnest.
To fully experience learn about the play, our girls were asked to dress up in costumes that reflect the fashions of the late Victorian period during our lessons. Some students have made their own costumes; some of them have been extremely creative!
The costumes have really helped immerse them into the time period, the values and attitudes of upper class Victorian society, and have also helped them get into character more easily. The first lesson in costume was really good fun!
