Kind Hearts

Hello, I’m Pippa, an Upper 5 flexi boarder who joined Queen Anne’s School as a Lower 4 in 2019. I was drawn to the encouraging environment and positive relationships between students and teaching staff at Queen Anne’s which made me excited to join.

I really enjoy going to a girls’ school and developing the strong bonds between my friends and I, in a supportive classroom environment. I am currently taking double Science, History, Dance, Drama and French for my GCSE option choices. I found choosing my GCSEs a positive experience due to the wide range of choices on offer at Queen Anne’s, so everyone can play to their strengths.  My favourite subject is English literature so I can indulge my passion for reading.

My biggest achievement since starting at Queen Anne’s is being awarded Dance and Drama scholarships in Upper 4. These scholarships have allowed me to develop in the subjects that I love, including receiving the most improved dancer award two years in a row.

I also played the role of Bottom in our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which is my favourite memory from Queen Anne’s so far. I enjoyed exploring my character and spending time with my friends. Mr Punter helped us to put on an incredible performance, mentoring us one to one throughout the whole experience and guiding us through the complex Shakespearian language.
