The White Pavilion dates to the very early days of Queen Anne’s School and many alumnae have fond memories of the pavilion.

It can be seen marked on a map of the area from 1910 and in many photos from over the years stored in our archives.

Over the years the pavilion has fallen into disrepair and has mainly been used for storage.  It is our hope to restore this building so as to provide a much-needed facility at the far end of the field.

Due to the generosity of the Anchor donors, we have been able to commence the restoration of the main fabric of the building, with the replacement of the roof already underway.

In order to complete the interior of the building in time for the tennis season, we are aiming to raise additional funds.  This money will ensure that we can install the necessary new toilet facilities and a kitchen/preparation area for fixture and event refreshments.

The renovated pavilion will be such a huge asset for sport fixtures and to the school as a whole, as we will be able to use it for a variety of events.
