Queen Anne’s U6 Leavers’ Day will take place on Friday 10 May 2019.
Our U6 economics students will travel to London to the Tutor2U Grade Booster Conference.
This conference and it’s workshops are designed to provide essential revision support to all A Level Economics students as they complete their preparation for the three terminal papers at the end of their linear A Level course.
Sarah Broughton will present a talk to our U5, L6 and U6 students about Allied Health Careers. This talk takes place in the PAC from 11:35am.
The U6 Parents’ Evening takes place on Tuesday 5 February, from 5:30pm in the Sports hall.
On Friday 30 November, six of our ‘future medics’ in U6 took part in a first aid course with Mr Blunt.
Our U6 students, who are in the process of applying to medical school, gained learning experiences in CPR training, the recovery position, and how to deal with and bandage different types and degrees of wounds.
On Friday 30 November, our year 4, L6 and U6 History students took a trip to Hampton Court Palace, former home of King Henry VIII.
U6 and L6 English Literature A level students will travel to London on Monday 26 November for a full day of lectures on Shakespeare’s Othello.
On Thursday 4 October 2018, 19 U6 Economics students had the opportunity to attend the Institute of Economics Affairs Student Conference which was hosted by Reading Blue Coat School.
A very big congratulations to all U6 girls that were involved in the creation of drama production ‘Noises Off’, it was a roaring success with attendance from friends, family and teachers. The girls organised this production entirely themselves with no staff assistance which is a fantastic achievement.
Prefects, Lori and Fabie (U6) sat down and interviewed three girls, who are currently in the Lower Sixth, to talk about their views since joining the Sixth Form at Queen Anne’s. Caitlin, who is a boarder, Amelia, new to the school at the beginning of the academic year and Maya, a day girl, told their perspectives on Sixth Form life.
