Front of Queen Anne’s School

Giving a bursary place provides a life-changing opportunity for the girl concerned.  It also brings benefits to the school as a whole – we all gain from teaching and learning alongside exceptional talent and inspiration.

‘… the specific aim of funding even more means-tested bursaries’

Currently 12% of girls are receiving bursaries of up to 100% of fees.   The Queen Anne’s School General Charitable Trust currently holds sufficient investments to fund bursaries totaling approximately 2.5 sets of day fees out of its own capital, in addition to the fund very generously endowed by Jane Warner, an old girl of the school.

Our long term aim, as part of our ‘Creating Tomorrow’ campaign, is to increase this to the point where the Trust could fund four sets of day fees in addition to the Warner Fund.  All of these bursaries would be in addition to what the school can fund out of its own income and so would create opportunities for more girls to experience life-changing education at Queen Anne’s.

This is why we are aiming to raise money from donations and legacies with the specific aim of funding even more means-tested bursaries for girls with outstanding ability.

TARGET: £850,000
