A round up of all the latest sports news in the week commencing Monday 15 January 2018.

Swimming

Last week we saw a fantastic effort from our U12 and U15 teams as competed against The Abbey school.
The U12 team, featuring the efforts of Ella (L4), Emily (L4), Katie (L4), Esther (L4) and Isabelle (L4) lost 21 – 47.
The U15 team, despite their best efforts, also lost 30 – 40. Olivia (L5), Niamh (L5), Jaz (L5), India (L5), Amelie (U4), Scarlette (U4), Amy (L5) and Jasmine (L5) all competed against The Abbey.

Netball

Last Monday the U15 netball teams took on the Windsor Girls. 

U15 As won 13-11
The Player’s Player as chosen by the opposition was Amelia F (L5)
Commended: Georgina W (L5), Oliva M (L5) and Jaz V (L5)

U15 Bs lost 10-20
The Player’s Player as chosen by the opposition was Tilly B (L5)
Commended: Lucy G (L5), Georgina M (L5)

On Tuesday our U12 teams competed against The Holt School

U12 As won 11-3
The Player’s Player as chosen by the opposition was Lara R (L4)
Commended: Sophie G (L4)

U12 Bs won 7-3
The Player’s Player as chosen by the opposition was Nel A (L4)
Commended: Katia L (L4) and Ife A (L4)

Wednesday the U16 teams saw some competition from St. Mary’s, Ascot

U16 As V St Mary’s 1st Team lost 21-31
The Player’s Player as chosen by the opposition was Georgie K (U5)
Commended: Molly R (U5)

U16 Bs V St Mary’s 2nd Team lost 11-24
The Player’s Player as chosen by the opposition was Maddie C (U5)
Commended: Yvonne K (U5) and Emily O (U5)

Thursday the U14 B team were competing against Cranford House
U14 Bs won 21-2
The Player’s Player as chosen by the opposition was Charlotte G (U4)
Commended: Harriet S (U4) and Freya M (U4), Aimee L (U4), Molly S (U4), Amber I (U4), Amelia H (U4) and Zoe O (U4)

Cross Country

Last week we saw Ella B (L4), Alice B (L4), Georgie G (L4), Katie W (L4) and Anna B (L4) all compete in the Berkshire Schools Cross Country Championships.

Lacrosse

On Saturday there were ten lacrosse matches against Godolphin School on a rainy but beautiful morning at the lacrosse pitches.

U13As won 10-1
U13Bs won 15-1

U14As won 11-6
U14Bs won 4-3
U14Cs lost 1-8

U15As won 6-3
