U6 Leave in style with QASFest

Tuesday 29th May 2018

Our Upper Sixth have worked incredibility hard over the last 2 years completing their A Levels and Friday marked the last day of their school life, before completing exams. With high spirits and colourful outfits, the girls greeted students and staff to QASFest 2018 with music cheering and water pistols.

Today’s QASFest was such a brilliant way for the girls to celebrate their final day at Queen Anne’s, combining their powerful sense of togetherness with their vibrant individuality. The whole school came alive to enjoy the fun and wish them well with their A level examinations and beyond.
Dr Bellamy, Director of Sixth Form

After a thoughtful leavers service in the Chapel, girls collected their year books and exchanged signatures with fond memories from their time at school. Mrs Tuckwell, Head of Michell House, left a personal messages for each girl in the year group, which resulted in a few tears!

What an amazing Leavers’ Day for the Graduating Class of 2018. The morning started with a jubilant welcoming of the lower grades amid a festival backdrop. The Upper Sixth had cleverly created Festival Headliner posters for various departments including the Chemistry Department photoshopped into My Chemical Romance and the Biology Department as The Vaccines. Emotions ran high during the Leavers’ Assembly where the tutor bid a very fond farewell to their tutor groups. Finally, the handing out and signing of the Yearbooks was a wonderfully social exchange during which the girls shared memorable moments in their messages to their friends. It was a fantastic day and I am extraordinarily proud of the girls for everything they have accomplished this year. Good luck!
Mrs Tuckwell, Housemistress of Michell House

We wish each girl the best of luck with the remainder of their exams and look forward to seeing more celebrations on Thursday 16 August for results day.
