Congratulations to Elysia (L6), who produced another outstanding athletics performance to win the U18 High Jump at the School Games National Finals at Loughborough University.
Competing from 3–6 September against talented young athletes from across the Home Nations, Elysia cleared an impressive 1.73m to take the title, overcoming strong competition from Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
The School Games National Finals is a major multi-sport event for school-age athletes, bringing together some of the country’s most exciting young sporting talent for four days of competition.
Elysia’s latest success adds to an already exceptional year. She previously won gold in the U17 Pentathlon at the England Athletics Indoor Championships in Sheffield, before securing silver medals in both the U18 High Jump and U17 Long Jump at the England Athletics Championships, recording 5.73m in the latter.
Another fantastic achievement in what has been an extraordinary year for Elysia. Congratulations!
