Lacrosse sticks packed and passports ready - Queen Anne’s Lacrosse headed to Prague over the summer for five action-packed days of international competition, team bonding and plenty of memorable moments.
The Prague Cup provided the perfect preseason challenge for our A and B teams, who took on predominantly older opposition including U20 sides from Germany, Scotland, Czechia and Poland, alongside South East England and Moreton Hall.
A demanding schedule put the girls to the test, but they rose to the challenge with determination, resilience and fantastic team spirit. Facing such strong opposition provided invaluable match experience and plenty of opportunities to develop confidence, fitness and tactical understanding ahead of the new school season.
Away from the pitch, there was time to explore Prague, enjoy a dinner cruise along the Vltava River and, most importantly, strengthen friendships across the squads.
A huge thank you to Mrs Page, Miss Lee and Mr Towse for making the tour possible. The girls returned home with plenty of experience under their belts - and an exciting season of Queen Anne’s Lacrosse ahead.
