Pippa, Alumna 2026

Hello, I’m Pippa, a 2026 alumna of Queen Anne’s. I joined the school in Lower 4 in 2019 and was immediately drawn to the encouraging environment and the positive relationships between students and teachers. Looking back, what I have valued most about Queen Anne’s is the confidence it gave me to be myself, alongside the incredibly strong friendships I made along the way.

Drama and Dance have been a huge part of my Queen Anne’s journey. I was awarded both Dance and Drama Scholarships in Upper 4, which gave me so many opportunities to develop as a performer, including being named Most Improved Dancer two years in a row. Some of my favourite memories are from school productions, from playing Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream when I was younger to taking on the lead role of Ash Girl in The Ash Girl during my final year.

One of my proudest achievements was being chosen as one of Queen Anne’s Head Girls for 2025–26. It was a real privilege to represent a school that had been such a big part of my life and to have the opportunity to give something back to the community. Queen Anne’s encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, take on responsibility and have confidence in my own voice.

In my final year, I studied English Literature, Drama and History at A Level, achieving an A* in English Literature and Bs in Drama and History. English has always been a particular passion of mine, so I’m incredibly excited to be continuing that journey at the University of Edinburgh, where I will be studying English Literature.

Queen Anne’s has given me so many opportunities to perform, lead, learn and grow. I leave with wonderful memories, lifelong friendships and the confidence to embrace whatever comes next.
