Wicked Wisdome win house drama!

Tuesday 19th February 2013

Last evening, Wisdome House wrestled the House Drama trophy from previous holders Wilkins in a very close competition.

The competition was a “Play-in-a-Day” format and none of the girls knew what it was that they would have to do until after lunchtime. At 1.00pm, 10 girls from each of the junior Houses assembled in the PAC, along with their respective sixth form Drama Prefect, to be told that they had just a couple of hours to devise a piece of drama on the theme of “Harriet Potter”. The girls set to their task with characteristic enthusiasm, mischief and energy and, come the time of the performances, five very entertaining pieces of drama had been created.

After the performances, the adjudicator decided on Wisdome House as the winners, to the cheers and whoops of the assembled girls! The adjudicator, Mr Gerard Logan, a RADA-trained actor who has worked for both the National Theatre and RSC, said that all the performers were “an absolute credit to Queen Anne’s”.
