U4 Protest Art

In Art, our U4s have been studying political and protest art and looking at the artist Banksy as an inspiration.
Our U4s’ final project was to create their own political poster that expressed their personal opinion about a world event.
“The impact of protest art is that you can get your opinion across about a topic you are passionate about, without having to literally speak out about it. It helps you show emotion towards different topics using colours and powerful slogans.
Our posters show people that there are others in need around the world, and they give a strong personal statement.” – Amelia S and Poppy W (U4)
