Sixth Form Students join with ‘Sport in Mind’ for World Mental Health Day

Wednesday 10th October 2018

In support and celebration of World Mental Health Day, 12 psychology A Level students from Queen Anne’s School worked with the mental health charity ‘Sport in Mind’ to organise and run a charity football tournament.

Sport in Mind are a Berkshire based charity who provide individuals recovering from mental health issues with an opportunity to enjoy physical activity.

This annual tournament has been running for over ten years and this year over 40 players who have worked with Sport in Mind came together to compete with one another at the Madejski football stadium. In good Queen Anne’s spirit our students cheered on the players, kept score and awarded winners medals.

All in all it was a great afternoon and we look forward to continuing our work with Sport in Mind in the future.
